  • The screen should state “Touch here to Borrow”

  • Close out of that screen by hitting the “X” button on the top right hand corner
  • Then the following screen should appear:

  • Then select the Arm-Disarm Buttom at the Bottom Left

  • Then simply follow the same  steps as the Staff Station for arming, disarming or viewing items

Note:

FOR ALL WORKFLOWS TRANSACTIONS YOU MUST ALWAYS DISARM THE ITEMS FIRST

  • If staff goes into workflows to override/check-out an item to a patron, they NEED to Disarm the item first, so it won’t signal the alarm
  • Staff Should use the VIEW Function when patrons try to exit the library, and the alarm sounds, they can place the item on the RFID antenna pad and check which items were not checked out properly
  • When encoded information appears:

- 00 is the branch code for the Linebaugh Library (like one of the pictures above)

-01 is the branch code fro Smyrna

-02 is Eagleville

-03 is MGL
